Q: I am planning my kitchen and trying to decide on a stainless steel or cast iron sink. I do a lot of canning, and am concerned with beets and tomatoes sitting in the sink and staining it. Which would you recommend?
A: Get a good 18 gauge stainless sink. You won't have to worry about chipping from canning plus it's more stain-resistant than a cast iron sink.
