Design
Before you buy your new toilet, there are some design options to take into consideration. Do you want a round front or elongated toilet? If you're short on space, go with a round front design. If not, most people find the elongated bowl designs more comfortable. Do you want a one-piece or two-piece toilet? A one-piece is seamless and easier to clean, but most toilets still come in two pieces

Right Height
An American Standard Right Height toilet is about 17 inches tall when measured to the seat rim. Because they're taller than the average toilet, there's less bending involved. So they're ideal for people with restricted movement from something such as a back injury.

Performance
American standard toilets have superior performance. The trap ways are 2 inches in diameter where as the industry norm is only 1 and half inch. After more than 10 years of fine-tuning their flushing system, the result is a toilet that is quieter and more efficient than ever.

Assembly
With the one-piece american Standard toilet there is no assembly. With the two-piece toilet there is still some assembly, but it's relatively easy. It only takes two bolts and just a few minutes to mount the tank to the bowl.
