You'll also find many different types of American Standard bathroom sinks to fit the space of whatever bathroom you're redecorating including pedestal, corner, wall-mount, above-counter, countertop, and undercounter.

You need to match the hole pattern in your sink with your faucet. It doesn't matter whether you choose a sink first or a faucet first, just make sure they fit one another.
American Standard sinks come in three faucet hole patterns: center hole, 4 inch spread, or 8 inch spread.
4' spread: this will give you the most faucet options - 4” center-set, mini-spread, or center-hole faucet w/ a base plate.
8' spread sink: This will give your sink a traditional look.
Center-hole sink: this is good choice if you want simplicity.
